Women in Prison (WIP) is a national charity that delivers support for women affected by the criminal justice system in prisons, in the community and through our Women's Centres.

Support for survivors of domestic abuse 

As many refuges aren’t able to accept pets, people might feel unable to leave their home until they know there is somewhere safe for their pet too. Dogs Trust offers a solution by providing free and confidential foster care for an average of 6-9 months, enabling people to access refuge or emergency housing safe in the knowledge that their dog will be loved and cared for.

At Cats Protection, we offer a free and confidential fostering service for people experiencing domestic abuse so they can rest assured their cat will be taken care of until they can be safely reunited.
